Primary Care Physician – WellMed | Rockport, TX
WellMed Medical Group is seeking a Primary Care Physician (Family Medicine or Internal Medicine) to join our established clinic in Rockport, Texas, just outside of Corpus Christi. This is an opportunity to practice in a value-based care model where you can focus on delivering meaningful, patient-centered care while being fully supported by a collaborative clinical team.
In this role, you’ll care for a primarily senior patient population in an outpatient setting that prioritizes quality over volume. Physicians typically see 15 to 16 patients per day, allowing for more time with each patient and a stronger focus on outcomes. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary care team that includes advanced practice clinicians, nursing support, case management, and administrative resources, so you can stay focused on practicing medicine at the top of your license.
You’ll also have the opportunity to collaborate closely with other primary care physicians, hospitalists, and a broad network of specialists. This environment supports autonomy while still offering the structure and resources needed to provide exceptional, coordinated care.
